Today, March 8, 2014, California Black Health Network, @YourCBHN, Mayor Kevin Johnsons Office, Center for Community Health and Well Being, Sac Cultural Hub, the Sacramento Unified School District, and Covered CA, all partnered to on a #GetCovered event on behalf of Sacramentos citizens. This event marked President Obamas Day of Action as we march into March Madness Enrollment Madness and make a final Slam Dunk for health care coverage for everyone. Organized by CBHN representative, Betty Williams, the event included the Sacramento School Districts annual health fair, dancers, popcorn, food, music, and even a Slam Dunk #GetCovered basketball competition. It was a festive day and one that saw many get enrolled in the health coverage they need. Kudos to all involved and a special thanks to Ms. Betty Williams for all the hard work!
