Today Tip Keeping up with my previous subject "herbs".. Tarragon is the mysterious herb, it has an unmistakable flavor, sort of like licorice or anise. Tarragon is an herb I believe was made for fish or shellfish, a match made in heaven. You can also use it with tomatoes as you would basil but in a more intricate way and when u add a little cream, the anise like tarragon notes are brought stunningly into relief. Tarragon can also be used with poultry, you can include it in a bouquet garni, chicken broth or stick a couple springs under the skin of your oven roasted chicken, umm yummy.... SO if you find yourself in the supermarket, wanting to add a little extra flavor to your chicken, fish, shellfish or butter pick up some tarragon and enjoy.. Continue on your culinary quest...
