Today, across Texas, in every county each party is holding their party conventions. At these conventions, resolutions are drafted and voted upon that direct the state and ultimately the national parties in the direction the citizens in the direction desire. This is where the individuals tell the parties and candidates what legislation we want written. Anyone can introduce a resolution to a county convention who is a registered voter. A resolution to open adoption records to the principle parties involved seems like it would be in order. If this was done correctly and introduced into resolution form at county conventions across the country at 2016 conventions, it would certainly garner attention. Just a thought....grassroots politics.
