Today and tomorrow members of the Medford Fire Fighters Association are doing the annual Fill the Boot campaign to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association. They are working the intersection of McAndrews and Riverside by the Mall. If you have a moment swing by and make your donation. The monies raised goes to an awesome organization. We are so close to beating Muscular Dystrophy. Your donation could be the one that finishes off the various diseases that the MDA is leading the fight against. Now, if you are not donating, be aware of slowing traffic and unexpected stops as people donate to the fire fighters in the intersection. Be watching out for them too. They try to only get into traffic on red lights....but that does not always work out to plan.
