Today has for the most part been an uneventful day for Kayden. They have continued her IPV treatments as well as updrafts. Todays X-ray is unchanged from yesterdays, at least its not worse. Her feeds are going good and she is at a level that she will stay at indefinitely even after we go home, praying that helps the vomiting. That had to put a Foley catheter in today because she started retaining urine. They even gave her a dose of lasix last night because she was getting puffy and she still wasnt putting out. Her sodium dropped to 128 this afternoon and the Dr has out her on some sodium supplements, I tried to tell him it just depends on what time of day you check her sodium determines the level (he should know this). I figure by tomorrow itll be sky high then I can say told ya so!! As difficult as it is to see her intubated, I know she needed it, she needed the rest. Praying she starts getting better and that I continue to do whats best for her.
