Today, i leave for Fort Lauderdale. putting the boat to bed for the winter was perilous this year due to extreme winds and rain. the marina staff lost control of the ropes, and the wind made my boat hit a steel beam. yes there is a big dent in the steel....above the water line. i stayed with mark and roger for the past week, and had a great time with warm friendship. it was great to see aunt anna, now 97, and the family this week. i was honoured to accompany brenda and howard to surgery and home. it is really tooooo cold for me here, and i am looking forward to the next 5 months in florida. i shall look forward to your visiting me. stay warm and safe....david
