Today in our little preschool world, I cried infront of some of my little babes... But for an absolutely amazing reason. One of our little friends struggles with print concept (identifying letters). She gets embarrassed and upset when she cant meet the level of her peers. Today we were playing letter lightning, and it was her turn and she answered it correctly. I didnt even realize what had happened until one little friend made me stop and said MISS EMILY!! She did it!! Did you hear her? She said it right! And all of the group started cheering and clapping and some grabbed her for a huge hug. She continued to get the others right and had a HUGE smile the entire time. Every time she answered correctly, applause followed. If she messed up, encouragement followed. My job can be messy (literally) at times and frustrating, but moments like this keep me going. ENJOY THE LITTLE MOMENTS!
