Today is Beaus birthday into heaven. Please celebrate it with prayers for him and for the family and friends he has left behind. A note to those who wonder why I share the horror of his passing and are quick to judge... I do it not to mar the memory of the beautiful man I loved but to spread awareness that bi-polar illness and depression are real diseases. They can transform a person into someone other than themselves, and most of the time, even they do not know what is happening. They are not to blame for their actions. They are ill. I also share so that those who are still fighting this disease can understand that you are not alone. That I understand how difficult it is to handle. And so that those who see symptoms of irrational, illogical and violent behavior in those they love may know when to seek help. Beau was one of the most amazing people in the world and he loved me with all he had. But he was taken ill. I want his death to count for something. So if that opens me up to judgment so be it.
