Today is Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukkherjee Janam Diwas...the forgotten - TopicsExpress

Today is Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukkherjee Janam Diwas...the forgotten martyr...he was administered penicillin for bronchial congestion while under incarceration by nehru-sheikh abdullah combine in kashmir, despite repeated intimations that he was allergic to the drug, in 2004 Vajpayee ji himself, who had accompanied Dr. Mukherjee to kashmir, admitted that Dr. Mukherjee demise remains a mystery (like that of Netaji and Lal Bahadur Shastri)... He had entered kashmir on 11 may 1953 illegally without identification, as was the rule then to protest against this very practice, because as he used to say---there can not be do nishan, do vidhan and do pradhan in one nation...kashmir then had a separate constitution, flag and prime minister, nehru had willy nilly accepted abdullahs three nation theory...lest we forget that it was his martyrdom that makes us possible to visit kashmir without passport and a watered down albeit unacceptable version of kashmir separatism in the form of art.370... It was him who saved kolkata from becoming part of east pakistan...i do not know what is the clan of Netaji either, sarat bose wanted all bengal to go under muslim rule (as now the nincompoop sugato bose tmc mp, still holds the stupid view that Netaji died in taihoku plane crash)...it was Shyama Babu who was able to fight for a separate bengal for hindus including kolkata...where would have all the hindu upper caste bhadralok bengali comrades done their great marxist-secular revolution without Shyama Babu, in islamic east pakistan???!!... It is the comrades who must kiss the feet of Shyama Babu first...and yes he was the youngest VC of any university, he became VC of University of Calcutta at age of 33...in 1937 for the first time in CU history he invited Rabindranath to give convocation address in Bengali...apart from all other things he was the founder of HAL...well let us remember him as the last nationalist martyr from bengal, after which it became the dust bin of history with blessings of the comrades...
