Today is a reminder of a day that changed all of our lives and a day we will always remember where we were when it happened. I will never forget waking up to mom telling me They hit the towers in New York and thinking it was a dream. I will never forget how gorgeous of a day it was and how every radio station was reporting breaking news as I drove to MWSU and each class I went to the teacher had it on TV and told us to go home and be with your family because they didnt know what could happen next. I will never forget going to work that afternoon and seeing every gas station packed with lines blocks down the belt highway and people buying food and water so fast we couldnt keep it stocked on the shelves. But mostly, I will never forget watching the images on TV and the firefighters going in as people ran out and the look on moms face as I said I know what I want to be momma....A firefighter and wanting to be there already to do anything to help. I will never forget the 343 that went in knowing there is a good chance they were not going to come out. May God bless all that were affected that day and may we all stand as tall as those towers today against any threats to our great country.
