Today is another marks another Wednesday without you! Daryl 8 weeks have gone by since that tragic night when you were taken from us. This song reminds me of how we all want you back and how much we all miss you! Life has changed so much since you have been gone, the outpouring of support from friends, co-workers, the community, the numerous organizations and from people who never even knew you is just amazing. You my brother certainly touched so many people in your short life. I can only hope to be half the person that you were. I wish I could wrap my head around why it was your time to go, you had so many things left to do, you had your babies to raise, a loving wife who deserved so many more happy years with you (you would be so proud of her, Amy is one amazing person, she is being so strong for you), parents who should not have ever had to say goodbye, your siblings who truly relied on your strength and advice, nieces and nephews who loved you to death, the Evans family and your co-workers who truly loved you as well. This past week I felt you with me on the way home from Florida, you got me pulled over which was your way of saying slow down, I know you saved Julie Pierson and allowed her to walk away from an accident in which she totaled her car (thank you because I could not handle another loss), however you could have taught her to drive just a bit better :-)! Even though 8 weeks have passed since you have been gone I still cry every single day, I miss you more and more each day. I still want to pick up the phone and call you or text you but I know you are not going to answer. Life is so empty without you, I wish this horrible ache in my chest would go away, I wish the loneliness was not so lonely. I wish this nightmare would end and I would wake up to find this has all been a bad dream. Daryl I know you are in a better place but it completely sucks because you should be here with us all. I love you so damn much it hurts and I miss you more than any words could explain. GOD SPEED LITTLE BROTHER!
