Today is exactly a year ago that Tanita OKennedy was admitted to hospital and was rushed in for surgery.. She had a massive operation which left her out of the gym for 8 weeks- she lost weight, couldnt eat, but still helped me throughout my whole prep for my shows last year! I remember she came backstage to help me with tan 3 days after the op, she couldnt walk up stairs by herself could barely move but she was so determined to be there with me no-one could argue with her.. I was training her during her first session back in the gym and she was struggling to lift the 3kg dumbells- we had to do machines only because she was so incredibly weak I couldnt believe it!! But now, a year later, she is about to step on stage and compete in the Fitness Bikini Line-up at IFBB KZN!! Its an incredible journey and I am so proud of you my Neets- such determination is awesome to see!!
