Today is the 5th Tuesday of the month. Our guild has an outing (5th Tue) where we go to surrounding area quilt shops. The shops often show a demo, or give us a tiny prize and/or discounts. Today we traveled from Jackson Tennessee to Oxford Mississippi to a new quilt shop called Sit n Rock. The owner was very hospitable and served us fancy cupcakes, showed us a demo and gave us a nice cloth bag. It was a darling shop. We left there and went to lunch at a diner downtown Oxford Mississippi. Then on to Cotton Treasures in Senatobia Mississippi. The owner had a trick-or-treat bag for us with M&Ms & written on each bag was a discount (15-30%). So you drew out a bag of M&Ms and got a discount! Needless to say a good time was had by all!
