Today marks a new beginning and the opportunity for growth and heightened awareness. Today I will be finalizing preparation for two large presentations to give at a national juvenile justice conference in New Mexico later this week. Many exciting things are coming out of this opportunity including a TV interview in New Mexico and my first book signing, as well as the public unveiling of a new Public Service Announcement video on the Impact of Trauma in communities, produced by Ben Hagarty and co-directed by Hagarty and myself. But the most exciting is seeing change happen within my family and having the opportunity to have my sister Tracey Kingsley join us on this venture to impact 1000 judges, lawyers and social workers from across the country. Ana Karen has thought me a lot this year including demonstrating the power of love and the importance of family connections and I am so thankful for that as it has opened my heart to a level of personal growth that I once thought might never be possible. This week will be full of emotions so I ask that you consider adding our friends and family to your prayer list. The grind starts today and ends on Saturday. Ben and my sister and I get on a plane for the first time together Wednesday morning.
