Today marks four months since my love (Erik Mann) passed from this life. I know Ive said it before but even though its only been four months it already feels like Ive lived a lifetime without him. There are no shortcuts with grief, however, I can choose how I respond. I choose to not be bitter. I choose to get up every morning with the expectation that God is going to be with me every step of the way. I choose to love others as if it were the last day I have with them. I choose to view life with the understanding that all of my days are numbered so Id better make them count and to enjoy the journey. Thank you Erik for your legacy of love and kindness that still lives on.
