Today my brother, Larry Moore, received a kidney transplant! I had the awesome pleasure of marring his sister, and so with Gods gift. I not only received the love of my life. I had another strong man of God that I was able to look too. I have watched Larry over the past 15 years work tirelessly as a paramedic, be a father to 4 amazing loving kids, and the effort he places on his friends and family. Larry as most strong men of God do, he places them before himself. This was even more true when he told the family of his illness. I watched my brother face this with strength and courage! I watched this man become closer to God and in doing so always kept his family at ease. He never stopped working! Never stopped being a father, never felt sorry for himself, never asked why! Just let life continue. We all prayed! Today, all of our prayers were answered! We give thanks for Larrys strength, we pray for an unknown family whose gift of love is being used to save Larrys life. We stop to reflect on the journey that our family has been on and will continue to make with Larrys journey to recovery. Best of all. Larry gets to continue to be the force in lives that he has yet to meet and deliver the medical care that is his profession. And we as a family get to watch Larry continue to be part of Gods love in our lives and share our love for him as well! What a blessed day!
