Today my family is extremely grateful and thankful. Yesterday while on the way up to take myself and a friend to the Iowa vs. Northwestern wrestling meet, a car turned right in front of my parents on the highway. They swerved and clipped the other truck. My parents ended up going off the other side of the highway, being airborne twice, and knocking out several trees. All of the air bags deployed and both of my parents had their seat belts on. Fortunately, do to my fathers quick actions neither my parents nor the other driver was hurt or injured. We are so thankful for the quick response of the Albia First Responders, Fire Department, Sheriffs, and State Trooper Chris Spencer who came to the aid of my parents. Today we realize how life can be taken away so quickly and we treasure every moment spent together.
