Today prayers were answered! Mike and I went to Barnes Hospital today and they were able to put in a new central line for Mike. As most of you know without this line Mike would dehydrate and his kidneys and other organs would fail. Because we have been running hydration fluid this way for about 20 years we have fought battles with infections over and over. He has had so many lines it has become very difficult to get one in. So it is so scary for us to have one put in. The other part of it is that they cant put him to sleep to do this procedure so he goes through torture while they are working on him. Needless to say we were both terrified when we left home this morning. I truly believe because of all the prayers it went great! He had a great team working on him they got the line in with very little pain for Mike. When they came and got me Mike and I were both so thankful and grateful that we were both almost in tears. Not the usual reaction for this team. It is like the weight of the world has been lifted off both of us. To each of you who said a prayer for us or just thought about us ThankYou! Our children and grandchildren, Ronnie Bates, my mom and Jan...we couldnt have made it without you all. Its not easy to come to the realization that you cant always do everything yourself! Not sure what has happened to Super Woman. LoL also my coworkers who picked up the slack while I ran back and forth to the hospital I thank you. Again thank you all and know you all have a special place in our hearts. We are feeling so Blessed. And, we are ready to get back to our normal. Its not like everybody elses normal but we are happy with ours. God Bless You All.
