Today right around this time four years ago, marks the anniversary of my fathers passing. Ill never forget the hours surrounding this event. Very vivid an distinct scenes play out in my memory. I remember singing to him briefly that night. And telling him his son was a rapper, as he drifted in and out of coherency. There was countless feelings that I had not experienced in the 23 years leading up to these moments. The most pro dominate, an unbelievable disbelief. To say Im over the my fathers departing of this earth would be very far from the truth. I do my best to carry him with me daily. I only find comfort in living with the values he left on my brothers and I, and continually reaching for my full potential. I do my best to remember him as he was.
