Today, the National Flag of Canada was flown at half-mast on the Peace Tower in Ottawa to commemorate the tragic events that occurred in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec, and Ottawa, Ontario. This morning we gathered close to the National War Memorial to pay tribute to Cpl. Nathan Cirillo, and sang O Canada. When Parliament re-opened, Cpl. Nathan Cirillo and Sergeant-at-Arms Kevin Vickers were both honoured. Thinking of you all.
