Today, the deal was closed and we no longer own a home in Waverley. We ended our 31 years there in style (or tried to) by going back last night for a final swim in Lake William under the Super moon. The moon however did not accommodate us--it stayed too far west, hidden from our spot on Lake William by the tall trees. So the swim occurred in the dark. But spouse said the water was delightful. That well miss a great deal, as we will the lovely home and the community. Some of the folks and things well more specifically miss: Jason, Maria and Isiah at the Vegetorium, Fall River Sobeys and Chef Miranda. Marjorie and Marie and the Waverley Post Office, Chef Jeffs in Fall River, the Wellington Bakery (butterscotch pie and tea biscuits), Janice at the Credit Union in Fall River, FRABA, Geraldine Gillis,Andrea Subbert and her colleagues at Shoppers, Fall River, Tony Jillette, Paul Hudson,, The Laker and its intrepid reporter,editor Pat Healey, (though Ill continue to follow him on Twitter and read the Laker online, the WCA.. Well stick with St. Johns United Church, Fall River and with Paul Kelly and the guys at the Fall River Service Centre (which is actually in Waverley)--they now have a Toyota Echo to lend when my LIncoln is in for service--as it will be tomorrow. Well Stick with Dr. Greg MacDonald for Dental Service and Doralee will stick with Nicole for her hair, and well watch the Gold Rush Days Parade. Otherwise were Bedfordites or Bedfordians, (whatever is the proper term).
