Today the kids and I begin our 9 week haul back to the UK. Unfortunately its not a holiday, my beautiful, amazingly brave daughter has decided she wants her smile back! As many of you know she has been through this procedure, unsuccessfully, before so the decision has not been taken lightly. Caitlin will undertake a 7-8 hour surgery to remove the muscle in her cheek and replace it with a muscle harvested from her back and reattached to the nerve graft. As her mum I cant even begin to describe how I feel. What I can do though is ask a small favour of my friends. If you believe in god then say a prayer, if you believe in magic make a wish, if your simply a positive thinker then send positive thoughts are way on the 21st of May - all will be appreciated xx
