Today theres a sixteenth Birthday. There wont be a drivers test, or a set of keys to a car. There wont be a team of kids from his favorite sport here hanging out or even a girlfriend making google eyes. Instead were blessed with a son where all the simple things in life make him happy. As he turned 16 this morning I wished him a happy 16. Hes purely over joyed knowing his Pake and Beppe are coming to see him and hes so excited to show him his new stereo and to sing for them. Hes excited for cake and ice cream. Hes happy that were having hamburgers because he loves them so. To know its HIS day is pure Joy for him. Although we wished we could give him what most 16 year old get. We know Brent has everything his sweet heart desires. Hes happy, he loves, hes loved and thats all he wants and needs. Gods given this family a gift to love and enjoy every day. If you look to Brent youll see a simple life can truly be the best way to live life. After all isnt that what we all desire in life? To love and be loved and have the few things in life that give us pleasure. HAPPY 16th Birthday Brent. We love you very much!
