Today was a bundle of energy and intensity as we saw nearly 180 - TopicsExpress

Today was a bundle of energy and intensity as we saw nearly 180 people enter into here today. Food was delicious and they all seemed to understand that Gods grace is sufficient. As we took time during the Food for Thought we talked about Revelations 21:4-5, And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” We talked about how in Isaiah 43:18-19 we read, ‘Do not remember the former things, or consider the things of old. I am about to do a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.’ We all have similar events in our lives when we stop and think about it. None of us are immune or without similar events in our lives. We are bound one to another by our circumstances and when we are in Christ, we are able to see that Christ will make all things new. To go with that we saw Ebenezer Mennonite Church come with 182 new blankets and throws, all while having people receive tickets for that microwave which never appeared to be claimed. We saw many stick around to see the ticket drawn and had a winner. Having Spencerville UCC and Ebenezer Mennonite, along with Sugar Creek Church of the Brethren here made us the winners. Top that off and we had some financial donation given to us today from the medical community and First Assembly of God which will make tremendous strides in finishing our year strong. Thank you so much Lima and Allen County for your steadfast devotion.
