Today was a day of mixed emotions. Our 11 yr old Yorkshire Marley has had a rough year. Hes been diagnosed with kidney failure, elevated red blood count, incontinency, blind, loss of appetite and weight, cracked paws, arthritis, and no interest in playing or interest in things that he used to enjoy. The list goes on..sigh. Willie and I did our research and decided to take Marley to the vet for an evaluation of his condition and a recommendation on what to do. As the doctor went over his history and condition I felt myself becoming ill as tears began to roll down my chin onto Marleys now grey head. Suddenly Marley began to squirt from my tight grip. As I carefully stood him up on the floor because recently that causes him to fall over, he shook himself and carefully began to walk around the doctors office! As thought to say, oh no you wont this day! We began to cry and laugh! God never said the road would be easy but He promised Hed always be there through it all. We know this is temporary but were grateful for just a fee more minutes with our Marley.
