Today was a fulfilling chase day I must say. Especially considering it was an "MCS" day. I saw plenty of structure, a couple funnels, got under a brief touchdown somehow (although I prefer to be outside of it so I can see it!), had decent time to stop and photograph throughout the day, ate dinner and had another storm pop up before sunset just West of me. I stayed just East of the new storm as dark approached and I worked my way home. Drove through heavy rain and popped out to find myself under a big wall cloud/ lowering as the storm was showing strong rotation on radar. Then some nice CGs. Just not good to see all the damage close to home.
