Today was a good day. We went to Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. We got lost in th Rez and ended up 50 miles out of our way. But we asked directions and were back on our way. Our plan was to visit Wounded Knee. We were lucky to meet a Lakotah man on the road. We were able to make it to Wounded Knee with his help. It was good to spend the day talking story with him. He also took us to Red Cloud School in Pine Ridge where they have a fabulous Lakotah Art Gallery. After that he took us and showed us the tribal buffaloes. All in all a day well spent.
