Today was a memorable day. Visiting my grandad who thought me everything I know about my horses, how to ride them and how to train them. Though After battling through his sickness around 12months ago he had to give up the horse he owned, from before I was born till last year grandad had never been without a horse, so for him to give up his last horse was a massive change in his life but visiting him today he told me he had little oscar (a pony I once owned to train for a neighbour over 4 years ago) is in his own back yard. Little oscar mows the grass and keeps grandad happy along with scooby the little pup. Its amazing how past experiences can still have such an impact in our lives, no matter how far I travel or the lessons I learn, nothing feels more like home then being next to a horse.
