Today was a tough day for our family. Stacys beloved horse of 22 years went to rest in heaven. Kelly, aka The Flying Kellers has been with Stacy since she was a little girl and they were bonded in love from day one. I remember Richard, Stacy and I getting up at the very wee hours of the morning when Kelly was delivered to the barn in SJC. It was dark and Stacy was beside herself. From that moment on, every day was spent with Kelly. Horse shows or pleasure riding, they won ribbon after ribbon. They were a team! With Kelly, Stacy was OC Jumper of the year for the OC Equestrian High School team and received her letter jacket. It would take forever to list every special moment, every special person & ribbon but one of the best was with Joanna Kaczmarek, as they raced to win the jumper relay in the OC year end show. It was a great moment!!! Kelly was Stacys rock and Kelly knew it. She would whinny every time she heard Stacys voice. Thank you, dear Kelly, for taking Stacy over every fence, whether it was right or wrong..LOL. You were trustworthy and always took care of my girl. I love you pony girl...RIP
