Today was an extraordinary and beautiful day. I woke up praising and thanking God for my health and strength. (You may remember this time last year, Id just finished chemo. I was extremely weak. ) Ron Winans song, But God played on my I pod and in my head ALL DAY! Ians autism lessens more and more every year and he is having a fine and fantastic time at Camp Bold for children with autism. They did music ministry today and he made a paper guitar! I visited with a sister survivor who started her first round of chemo. Wed never met in person, but the Holy Spirit connected us and was present today! I was able to continue the spirit of sisterhood that other survivors so graciously bestowed on me. Amen and thank you Lord! Hallelujah! Im blessed to be employed and valued for what I contribute at my jobs. Im also grateful to work with people who have principles! I have a home and a husband and family and friends who love me. Im fairly sane and in my right mind and Im motivated! Im 46 and not as fine as Im gonna be when Im 50, but I aint hard on the eyes! (Hehehehehe) And although I had to stop writing this entry 11 times to kill Mississippi mosquitos, not one of them bit me! Aint life Grand! Be blessed and be a blessing if you can, you have power! In my best Nina Simone voice: Im feeling good!
