Today we celebrate the life and work of Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. who was a champion not only for the rights of African Americans, but for people of all races, ethnicities, and backgrounds. He was a servant leader, giving of himself fully to better the lives of others. I hope that we will honor his legacy by engaging in service to one another and recognizing our ongoing responsibility to speak out against the injustices of our time.
