Today we did cultural museum trips and learnt lots about Mining and its impact on the community. Rain prevented us returning to the water hole so we opted for a game of soccer in our togs, which ultimately ended up in a wonderful mud bath party! (Apologies to parents in advance for the state of your childrens clothes!) The mud slide was the highlight, followed closely by an impromptu concert of dancing and singing then a full on outdoor Disco! Children have barely been inside! After that, the children cooked their own dinner (sausages) and enjoyed Kerris corn fritters! After this, the Burma trail and then toasted marshmallows on the bonfire! Children are just amazingly resilient and pretty tired. I feel blessed to have had your amazing children and I hope they carry with them a really fond memories
