Today we kick off the Rittenhouse Family Reunion! We have been working with Steve Rittenhouse of Chicago to plan this fun weekend; it will be filled with great food, games, auction, tubing, face painting, storytelling and bluegrass. Dating back as far as the 1600s starting with Moses Rittenhouse, this is the 15th generation of the Rittenhouse family from IL, PA, & IN; they have such a fascinating history ~ Rittenhouse Paper, (the Declaration of Independence was signed on Rittenhouse Paper) Rittenhouse Lumber, Rittenhouse Publishing Company and the Rittenhouse Museum among many other notable businesses & attributes. I am looking forward to hearing stories and learning more about this family, it will be great fun! We will post photos on our company Facebook page throughout the weekend.
