Today we lay to rest my Brother an friend Brian Gilbert Sr.. I thank God for his life, he taught me in all things give thanks. Brian was on dialysis from he was 21, I have never seen anyone fight to live like he had. I remember when he sign up to have a kidney transplant an he call me an said he had to go they call he had 48 hours to have the surgery... I remember when he came back and said you een miss me I was like wat... You crazy aye... Only one of you... I remember when he told me he found the lumps in his neck an he had them tested an they were cancerous. He went on to explain that the medication side effect was caner.. The thing was he had to continue to take this medication because it was was the anti rejection medication so his body would reject his kidney... He fought to live like no one I know... When people give up cause they have a small problem or a bump in the road of life he was there supporting an uplifting many... I will miss him ... I thank God for the awesome times an the wonderful memories... Thank you for you time... Its a sad day.. But a good day cause I know he is in heaven...
