Today we lost another dear Friend. Helen Epskamp came into our lives as a friend, although we felt like we knew her from High School. Helen attended Churchill High School in Livonia and graduated two years after Gayle and I. She became the kind of Friend that you could always ask her to do something. She had a love for music and laughter. Whenever I asked Helen if she could round up her friends and put on a little concert for groups that I worked with like the Piquette Factory or The Friends of Nankin Mills her response was to always tell me what a pain I was and that she really wasnt that good,, But that for me she would be there. When she heard that Gayle and I were getting married she ran out and became a Minister. But we wanted her in our wedding, not marrying us.. Although I have to admit she would have made it even more memorable than it already was. She now leaves us with great memories of her and her smile, and joins her daughter. I hope she went with minimal pain and is now resting. Helen we will miss you . As soon as I have more information I will pass it on to all our friends.
