Today we paid $325 to a house inspector to inspect the house that we are living in... you know, the one what we were supposed to be buying for an amazing price, but it hasnt passed inspection. Well, what we learned was that it needs a new roof ($7000), new electrical throughout ($2000), new sub-floor in the master bathroom, all the siding probably should come down since there was a big lawsuit and settlement on the masonite that covers it. Everything needs to be caulked, he is VERY concerned about the footing or foundation. New Furnace, A/C, and water heater. He was very careful to not insinuate that this was a money pit, but it apparently is exactly that! PLEASE DONT BUY A HOUSE WITHOUT AN INSPECTION!!! Thank you Josie for trying to warn me!
