Today we say not goodbye but see you later to our sweet pastor. He has been so much more than a pastor to me and my family. He has been my mentor, counselor, teacher and one of the best friends a person could ever ask for. I could go to him with a problem and by the time I finished talking to him I would always walk away smiling without a problem in the world. I met him when I was 19 years old working in one of the cafés he would drink his coffee in. Even though I was living the life that I was he always made me feel like I mattered. Then when Heather was sick he began coming by and praying with us and I can only imagine the conversations that him and Heather had...WOW! And now they are both dancing in heaven with the God that they both knew and loved. I will miss this man of God so much, but I know that I will see him again...soon.
