Todays local newspaper had a quite interesting letter to the editor from James Britt. In it, he quoted a member of the Sovier Academy of Science, who stated, Socialism of any type qnd shade leads to a total destruction of the human spirit and to a leveling of mankind into death. This is a true statement. Anyone not familiar with socialism and who thinks socialsm can work in any society is very uneducated or foolish and needs to study every effort made to live under socialism.
