Tokunbo AremoOdua lied on Buharis achievements. He claimed in his post that Buhari as minister of petroleum, signed the contract for Warri Refinery, for Kaduna Refinery, for more than 20 depots all over the country, for laying of pipelines, more than 3,200 kilometers and without Nigeria borrowing a kobo for those projects. The above lie is the problem with Buhari. His associates present no substantial achievement during his regime, they can find none, so they resort to blatant falsehood to deceive a public which does not bother about researching the facts. As a matter of fact, we have four refineries in Nigeria. Port Harcourt I, Port Harcourt II, Warri and Kaduna. While Port Harcout I, was built by Shell in 1965, it was appropriated by the Obasanjo Regime in 1977. Port Harcourt II was built by Babangida in 1989. Warri was built by Obasanjo in 1978; Kaduna was built by Shagari in 1980. Babangida and Abacha added petrochemical plants and expanded the refineries at different times. If you may note, amongst all the Head of states, it is only during Buharis regime nothing was done or added to refineries.
