POSITION SUMMARY: To assist the department in the clerical aspects of preparation for patient meal service through accurate menu processing and assisting patients with menu selection. Job Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent required. Related experience or education demonstrating a knowledge of normal and modified diets, and the Carbohydrate Counting and Protein Exchange systems preferred. Previous networked computer experience preferred. Basic typing skills and good verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and complete assignments in a timely manner. Must be able to stand for long periods of time (up to 2 hours). Must be able to sit for long periods of time (up to 6 hours).
