Tom and I live in Agnes Water 1770 – it is our tropical paradise. I paint, he critiques – surprisingly it works well. When I started painting, late 2007, we both knew I had found a passion that would become part of our lives. I am self taught. For several decades, I studied everything I could find about oil painters and the technical aspects of oil painting. Now, five years on, I happily paint four days a week and with each day I fall more and more in love with the joy of mastering oils. My subjects are as a varied as Nature. The common thread through all my work is creating form by using my extensive, and it has been said, unique chroma palette to capture the beauty that lies within everything I paint.
