Tom was finally discharged and is now home. He miraculously began healing overnight this weekend and shocked his surgeon and transplant team at how unexpectedly and quickly he seemed to snap out of the critical place he had been in and for so long. I brought him home Monday with significant hope that all has resolved itself. He is very weak and frail, has to build muscle and put weight on. He is able to eat table food now. Again I thank you for your prayers, love and concern. I have seen my son fight to live time and again and the overwhelming love of God embracing him throughout this ordeal.
