Tomorrow as my family and I prepare to place my father besides my mother, sadness seems so unreal that I will ask God to bless us, as this takes place, my Dads heart was so child like who loved beyond loving, his hands the strength of steel that worked so hard to support his family, his heart was gentle & tender when he would watch his favorite John Wayne movie, he fought for his country because of his love for others oh the stories he told Ill never forget. My Dad was my hero who was stern with just the pointing of his finger you knew not to move, he taught us to respect others and treat them with kindness, he taught us to shoot a gun if there was a need, he loved to hunt even if he cried when he shot a squirrel or other prey and he did this for us, Im so blessed I was his daughter and wont say good bye, I know I will see him in Heaven and I will live my life wholeheartedly as he always told us never be afraid to take chances but to enjoy and carry on through the generations to come because he is a part of the past and the future so Ill remember that tomorrow as I realize the next time I see him will be in Heaven love you Dad !!
