Tonight was a very spirited night. Ive learned that opposition is healthy. That elders are wise, and that our youth are ready. I will never burn a bridge between my elders understanding, nor will I let them speak for us after we have earned our voices. I will always seek their wisdom, but I will never put aside the views of our generation. I seek to build on their foundation only if it is made of stone, and even then I will be willing to renovate corroded blocks. My goal is to unite. Never to divide. To build, and destroy only when the hands of all have hammers to a common threat. I love my people. I love my community. I humbly submit to fire in my heart to serve. Selah.
