Tonight was riddle night with my grand daughters: GD 1 (Alena): (As I heard it) Tutu, sixteen fish on a shelf, one fell down, how many left? Tutu : Fifteen? GD 1: No! (after a while) you give up Tutu! Tutu: OK I give up! GD 1: Five! Tutu; Five? If you have sixteen fish on ….. GD 1: (Cut in) But I did not say sixteen fish, Tutu, I said six tin fish! Tutu OK! OK! GD 2 (Maria) Tutu, why is 6 frightened of 7. Tutu; Oi, 6 is frightened of 7, GD 2: Yes Tutu, Why? Tutu: (Silence) GD 2: Tutu you give up? Tutu: Yes I give up! GD 2: Cos 7, 8, 9. Tutu: What? GD 2 : Cos 7 ate 9. (No wonder 6 is frightened of 7. I would too.)
