Took a Pet CPR/First Aid class a couple of days ago: can I recommend this for everyone? If the Red Cross doesnt do one, your local veterninary or Humane society might know. I. A tidbit: vomiting. Heaven knows, our cats do it; sometmes, often. The most common cause: swallowing hair or grass that irritates the stomach. Intestinal parasites can cause that kind of irritation, too. When kits (and often cats) eat too quickly and dash around immediately after, barf. Advice: feed smaller meals and ensure each kid has his/her own cat dish: this slows eating. Also, the slow-bowl: a pet bowlwith a hole or a dome in the middle, so the cat has to eat around the thing. If catto vomits once or twice but seems absolutely normal both before and after, chances are the issue is not dire and can be treated at home.
