Topic: The wonder of warfare - spiritual warfare Text: 1 Sam. 30:1-end When it comes to your destiny, the only language the devil understands is confrontation and violence. There is a contention over your life; the devil waits to take advantage of you. Sin is one thing that exposes us to the devil. David had left his base to join the Philistines to fight against the Jews, but the Philistines thought the he might take sides with the Jews on the battle field. For this reason, David returned home, only to see that all he had, been stolen - Never fight a Christian, leave him to his God. Dont try to explain your losses away; when you do, you cannot get anything back. Spiritual warfare allows you to express dominion mandate, be who you are supposed to be, draws you closer to God, trains you and increases you. In spiritual warfare, the basis of our courage is that God is not a respecter of persons (Acts 10:34) and he is not partial (Rom. 2:11)- What God has done for others, He can do for you. Job and David got back all they lost. Gods word has the same potency, it does not diminish. If you need to pursue, gain strength, vision and speed, you must wait on God (Is. 40:31). Fasting gives you spiritual speed and flight. Prayer brings the hand of God upon you and grants you speed. You also recover by fighting - use the blood of Jesus to pray and remind God that you are a tither. This week, be involved in spiritual warfare - pursue, overtake and recover all. God bless!!!!
