Tough call as to what Lennon song/album on top of my list. Mind Games is a close second. This album has it all. But a two song sequence really stands out: Im Losing You by Lennon. and Im Moving On by Ono. They knew the depths of despair but found the shining light of hope and love, and shared it with us all. The sad part is that he was saner now than at any other time in his life said Ono shortly after he was killed on December 8, 1980. She brought out the best in him, and he in her. When you were angry you had love in your eyes. When you were sad you had pain in your voice. But now youre giving me your window smile. Im moving on, moving on, were getting boring. Rest in peace, Mind Guerrilla. Your goodness continues to ripple through humanity.
