Tour of the Dragon in Bhutan is the most grueling one day cross country mountain bike race in world. And while it is probably too soon to make plans to make this bike race this year (Sept. 7, 2013), cross country mountain bikers should put the Tour of the Dragon in Bhutan on their radar. This one day race course we rode over 3 days. It is brutal and an amazing accomplishment if you finish. A glimmer of how special Bhutan is that both HRH Prince Jigyel Ugyen Wangchuck and the current president of Bhutan, Tshering Tobgay have both smoked the course in prior years and continue to raise the bar for themselves.
