Trick or Treat Halloween is not my holiday. But even though this is no Christian Holiday nor did Christians come up with the phrase trick or treat, even in this I find the Lord speaking. You can be sure that the only thing you will ever receive from Satan and from NOT serving the Lord Jesus will be a trick. He will dangle something you think is good only to lure you into his plan to bring destruction to your life. What a trick. He will never be honest and show you the mess you will be in if you follow his lead. What a trick. But with Jesus you will never be tricked, you will never have to guess. Jesus can always be trusted, His brings you a life that is a treat and never deceive or trick you. I know it is not a popular thing to say, but I would be honest with all who read this post. Halloween celebrated Satan and the dark side of life, it does not celebrate Jesus and His light. I would challenge you to read the true origin of Halloween, dont take my word for it.
